This past Saturday, Brass over Tea Kettle strutted into Kingston’s Confederation Park with their loudest horns, sparkliest outfits, and a pocketful of pure joy to help kick off the Pride celebrations in style! With sunshine overhead and glitter in the air, the band served up a rainbow-colored playlist of crowd-pleasing bangers that lit up the park and got the attention of local media!
The day also marked the fabulous BOTK debut of 11-year-old vocal powerhouse Munyaka Dodo, who wowed the crowd with a spellbinding version of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire”—earning a standing ovation and a few happy tears, too!
This show kicks off BOTK’s Going Nowhere Fast Summer Tour, with musical mischief and toe-tapping tunes popping up all over Kingston and Bath. If you missed us this time, don’t fret—check out our calendar and catch us at a show near you. We’ll bring the brass, you bring the sunshine!
