Brass over Tea Kettle Headlines Charity Show at The Mansion

Last Saturday night, Brass over Tea Kettle brought their signature mischief and musical mayhem to The Mansion for a stacked evening of performances in support of local charities. The show, organized by the Queen's Players, marked the debut of Eel Mating Season, and also featured amazing sets by Red Compass Rose and Clay Pigeons.

The crowd packed into the second floor of the beloved Kingston venue, dancing and singing along late into the night. The chant of “BOT! BOT!” echoed through the room by the end of Brass over Tea Kettle’s set—though some band members claim they heard the elusive “K” tacked on, this reporter remains skeptical.

All profits from the night went to a wide range of local organizations, including Martha’s Table, Joe’s M.I.L.L, the Kingston Youth Arts Cooperative Club, the AMS Food Bank, and more. It was a night of music with meaning, where the good vibes were matched only by the good causes.

As a parting gift, BOTK stickers now grace the doorframe and bathroom walls of The Mansion’s second floor—proof that the band, and the night, left a lasting impression.
